Pahumara FIS is a medium irrigation scheme with headworks located at 26.600325°  N &   91.141347°  E under Bhabanipur LAC in Bajali District. The project was started in the year 1979-80 and it was partially commissioned in 2001-2002 with a NIA of 8200 Ha. out of th estimated NIA of 8336 Ha. At present the NIA is 5500 Ha. A total of 6 numbers of villages are benefitted through this scheme.
